’90 Days’ Stars Chantel and Pedro Claim They Are ‘Claustrophobic’ In Quarantine Together

As long as 90 Day Fiancé viewers have known them, it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Chantel and Pedro. That hasn’t changed during Covid-19 quarantine, they revealed on Monday night’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined.

The family was featured in the episode, which takes a look inside their lives now…after the show and during coronavirus. Neither Chantel nor Pedro seemed to be in a great mood, and their comments reflected an annoyance in their relationship.

“I’m really tired of being in the house, it’s just so claustrophobic to me,” Chantel said. “I love my husband but I do wish I had my own space. He has his gaming station, and we never anticipated me having to move all of my studies from the school library into the home.”

In addition, she noted that they aren’t communicating perfectly. “Pedro and I are spending a lot more quality time together,” she said before panning the camera to Pedro. “I wonder if he can hear me or if he just ignores me sometimes.”

Chantel and Pedro are spending their Covid-19 quarantine working through trust issues.

The series, as well as their own spinoff The Family Chantel, have touched on some trust issues between Chantel and Pedro. Apparently, they’ve been working through these for some time, and this quarantine gave them an even better excuse to put their relationship first. Chantel explained to Entertainment Tonight.

“Right now, he can’t go anywhere. Yeah, I trust Pedro. I trust him, the only problem that’s ever been between Pedro and I in regards to trust has happened, like, when you were in the Dominican Republic, like, around your family,” she said of a time Pedro received a lap dance, and his family cheered him on. “I trust Pedro, I just don’t trust people around him and that he’s strong enough to put his foot down for me.”

They’re not the only couple to be featured on the series. 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined has been stepping inside the homes of the series favorite (and least favorite) alums. Colt Johnson and his mother, Debbie, were in the series’ first episode. In the video, which was home-recorded, Johnson revealed he lost his job due to Covid-19. He also claimed his relationship with mother, Debbie, has only been getting better since the pandemic started. This comes after a volatile family setting when his former wife Larissa Dos Santos Lima lived in the house with them.

Colt claimed he hasn’t seen or heard from Larissa in a while.
