Pussycat Dolls’ raunchy Sport Relief performance compared to ‘porn’ in furious backlash


The Pussycat Dolls are facing a furious backlash over their raunchy Sport Relief performance last night with some viewers comparing it to “porn”.

Nicole Scherzinger’s girl group slipped into revealing PVC costumes for an outrageous performance of their new single React on the BBC telethon.

The stars were seen grinding against chairs and thrusting their hips in the sizzling set.

However, some thought their dancing and outfits were an “inappropriate” choice for the charity fundraiser, which was helping bring in cash for good causes.

Many viewers even compared the saucy performance to “porn”.

One tweeted: “What the hell have the pussycat dolls got on i thought I was watching a porn movie #SportsRelief2020 .”

They got complaints over their saucy costumes

Another even compared the girl group to live sex cam girls of Babestation, tweeting: “BBC gone for the Babestation approach with Pussycat Dolls answering the phones for Sport Relief.”

The furious reaction to the Pussycat Dolls’ sexy show comes days after their raunchy performance on The One Show sparked 119 complaints to Ofcom.

The broadcasting watchdog was flooded with gripes from outraged viewers over the band’s overtly sexual choreography and barely-there stage outfits on the early evening chat show this week.

The BBC defended the set in a statement on their website which read: “We worked with the band to ensure their performance was suitable.

“The Pussycat Dolls are well known for their dance routines and outfits and we announced at the start of the show that they would be appearing.

“Their performance then came towards the end of the programme, just before 8pm.
