This list ranks the risk of catching Covid-19 from a range of activities

The Texas Medical Association (TMA) has published a list ranking the risk of infection with Covid-19 for a wide range of activities, including going to a bar, attending school, or working out at the gym.

The list ranks activities on a scale of 1 to 10, reflecting how risky they are in terms of exposure to the coronavirus.

This list has been ranked by physician experts from the TMA Covid-19 Task Force, and the TMA Committee on Infectious Diseases.

It comes as South Africa continues to relax its lockdown laws, despite a surge in Covid-19 cases, including allowing more pupils to return to schools, and opening up restaurants to sit-down patrons.

South Africa is approaching yet another unwanted milestone regarding, Covid-19, after health minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize announced on Sunday evening, that there are now 196,750 total cases of coronavirus in the country.

This is an increase of 8,773 cases from the 187,977 cases reported on Saturday – which saw a new 24-hour high for the country of 10,853 cases.

The minister announced 173 new Covid-19 related deaths, taking the total to 3,199 casualties and 93,315 recoveries to date.
